Vanuatu will host the largest health outreach in the country's history this September, delivered by the Esesson Foundation in partnership with Vanuatu's Ministry of Health.

Running from 12 to 20 September 2026, the outreach will provide free general medicine, orthopaedic surgery, dental treatment and women's health at Vanuatu National Hospital, Mele Village and other approved sites. It is expected to reach more than two thousand people.

Alongside the treatment programme, the outreach includes clinical training for Vanuatu health professionals, extending its effect beyond the nine days of operation.

Vanuatu was selected for the landmark outreach through the philanthropic support of John Margerison, whose donation to the Esesson Foundation made the scale and reach of the initiative possible.

The Esesson Foundation is an Australian-registered charity, ABN 56 639 536 360, with Deductible Gift Recipient status.

This partnership demonstrates what can be achieved when government, international partners, and community leaders work together for the wellbeing of our people.
