The Margerison Project

Four strands, one purpose.

The philanthropic work of John Margerison, gathered in one place. Practical support, given directly to the people already doing the work.

It is not a trust or a foundation. There is no committee, no application window and no overhead.

Just a long-held conviction that support should reach the people already doing the work, and that it should arrive without conditions attached to it. John Margerison funds it personally. Some of it runs through established charities he has supported for more than a decade; some he arranges himself, person to person. Most of what he gives is small, direct, and not recorded on this site.
