Vanuatu's largest health outreach
The Margerison Project supported Vanuatu's largest health outreach, via the Esesson Foundation. This enabled more than 2000 people from vulnerable and underserved communities to access free healthcare services.
The Esesson Foundation, in partnership with Vanuatu’s Ministry of Health, delivered the country’s largest health outreach initiative to date from 12-20th September 2026. The program provided free healthcare services to more than 2000 people, prioritizing vulnerable and underserved communities.
Services included general medicine, orthopaedic surgery, dental care and selected women's health and gynaecological services alongside clinical training and skills development for local healthcare professionals.
Vanuatu was selected for the outreach through the philanthropic support of John Margerison, whose donation to the Esesson Foundation made the scale and reach of the initiative possible.
